The K-100 Deluxe Kit measures the shear strength of soil with a CBR between 0.5-100. This kit has all the components necessary for sustained operation in remote areas including a Heavy Duty DriveRod, strong enough to be used is all soil types. It has 100 disposable cones and two adapters for fast and easy extraction of the instrument from hard soils and six hardened points for soft soils. This kit also includes a Light Duty Drive Rod and 3 Extension Rods for use in relatively weak soils containing no agregate larger than 2". The stainless steel dual mass hammer and crush proof Pelican carrying case, with transport wheels, are standard with this kit.
