The disposable cone is for use in soils where the hardened points are difficult to remove. The diposable cone mounts on an adapter (Product #4218.800) that is attached to one end of the DCP that is driven into soils. At the conclusion of the test, the disposable cone easily slides off the cone adapter allowing the operator to remove the DCP device from the soil. The disposable cone remains in the soil. Use of the disposable cones will save wear and tear on both the device and the operator while doubling the number of tests that can be run per day. Packaged in a box of 25. (Adapter sold separately.)
